The 28th annual Chinese New Year Gala hosted once again by our Chinese Cultural Association of Regional Niagara (CCA) marked another year of success on Feb 8th, 2019.

The 28th annual Chinese New Year Gala hosted once again by our Chinese Cultural Association of Regional Niagara (CCA), co-hosted with Brock University Confucius Institute, and title-sponsored by OnFresh Supermarket marked another year of success on Feb 8th, 2019.

自1976年成立至今，尼亞加拉華人文化協會始終致力於為華人社區提供服務，並向本地人介紹及宣傳中國文化。在協助本地機構組織有關中國文化的活動的同時，也為成員們舉辦豐富多彩的娛樂活動。其中新春聯歡晚會更成為了每年社區活動的一大亮點，以歌伴舞，傳頌鄉音，讓遠在異鄉的華人能夠借此機會歡聚一堂歡喜熱鬧地過新年，以解鄉愁。

Established in 1976, the Chinese Cultural Association of Regional Niagara (CCA) is the largest non-profit non-political Chinese Association in the Niagara Region. From the very beginning, our goal is to serve the Chinese community and to promote awareness of the Chinese culture and heritage in the region.

作為一個無關政治與宗教的非盈利組織，尼亞加拉華人文化協會的傳承離不開多年來社會各界以及歷任理事的無私奉獻和辛勤勞動。他們沒有酬勞，不求回報，在忙碌的工作之餘為組織籌辦各項活動獻策出力。而每一次辭舊迎新，新的理事會成員始終秉承前輩們的初心，繼往開來，為中華文化在大瀑布地區的傳承出力。

CCA organizes and supports multicultural activities with local organizations, and runs several recreation activities for its members throughout the year, including Chinese New Year celebration, Here we are tonight, a Summer picnic, and Celebration of the Autumn Moon Festivals. All of our committees are volunteers, they have devoted their precious time to help serve the Chinese community.

歡樂的時光總是短暫的。在觀眾的熱烈掌聲中，全體演職人員上台謝幕，為晚會畫上了完美的句號。感謝台前幕後所有參與策劃和演出的工作人員以及慷慨解囊支持華人文化的各大贊助商。沒有大家的支持，CCA瀑布華人春晚無法延續至今，並且舉辦的一年比一年精彩。

The time of joy is always short. In the warm applause of the audience, all the performers came to the stage to make a perfect ending for the evening. We CCA would like to thank all the staff and volunteers who participated in the planning and performance behind the scenes and all of our CCA sponsors who had generously supported us in order for CCA to introduce our Chinese culture to the community. We simply cannot make this happen without everybody’s continuous support.
